Gaines Soil Consulting was formed in August 1994 as a private consulting firm specializing in soil evaluations for on-site septic suitability, detailed soil mapping, and wetland studies.

Gaines Soil Consulting has taken on projects from Washington County, Missouri (to the south) to Rock Island County, Illinois (to the north) and from Montgomery County, Missouri (to the west) to Effingham County, Illinois (to the east). Our clients have included engineers, developers, contractors, realtors, and individuals.
